Terms of Service

1. The service

The service delivers CARFAX vehicle history reports as PDF files through WhatsApp. You send a Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) to our assistant and, once a report is generated, it is sent back to the same chat.

The assistant is automated. It follows a fixed menu and does not offer legal, financial or mechanical advice.

2. Subscription and credits

The plan costs US$ 100 per month and includes 100 report credits per billing cycle. One credit is consumed each time a report is delivered to you.

No credit is consumed when the VIN has no coverage, when the format is invalid, or when we fail to deliver a report for any reason.

Credits are valid only during the billing cycle in which they were granted. Unused credits expire at the end of that cycle and do not roll over.

3. Your account

You must provide accurate information at checkout, including a WhatsApp number that you control. Each account is tied to one WhatsApp number at a time; you can change it from your account page.

You are responsible for every request sent from your registered number. Keep your phone and your email secure, since the account login is done through links sent by email.

4. Billing

Payments are processed by Stripe. The subscription renews automatically every month on the same date until you cancel. Applicable taxes may be added where the law requires it.

If a payment fails, the service is paused until the payment is completed. Stripe will attempt to charge the card again and will notify you by email.

5. Cancellation and refunds

You may cancel at any time from your account page. The cancellation takes effect at the end of the period you already paid for, and you keep access until then.

We do not offer refunds for partial periods or for unused credits, except where the law requires otherwise.

6. Availability

Reports depend on third party data sources and infrastructure that we do not control. Those sources may become slow, limit the number of requests, or be temporarily unavailable without notice.

When that happens, we keep your request in a queue and deliver the report as soon as the service resumes, or we tell you that we could not. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability or a specific delivery time.

WhatsApp is also a third party service. We may change the assistant's number or suspend the service for maintenance; we will inform you through the site or by email when we can.

7. Acceptable use

The service is meant for your own business or personal use. You may not resell the reports or the service, share your registered number with third parties for that purpose, or use automation to send requests.

We may suspend or terminate an account that abuses the service, attempts to circumvent its limits, or violates these terms.

8. Report content

CARFAX reports are produced by third parties. We deliver them as received and do not alter their content. We are not responsible for the accuracy or completeness of the information they contain.

A report is not a substitute for a physical inspection or a professional appraisal of the vehicle.

9. Trademarks

CARFAX is a registered trademark of CARFAX, Inc. VC USA CORP is an independent business and is not affiliated with, sponsored by or endorsed by CARFAX, Inc. WhatsApp is a trademark of Meta Platforms, Inc.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, VC USA CORP will not be liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from the use of the service or from a delay or failure in delivering a report.

Our total liability for any claim related to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months before the claim.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The current version is always available on this page, with the date of the last change. Continued use of the service after a change means you accept the new terms.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida. Any dispute will be resolved in the courts of Miami-Dade County, Florida.
